Alexia Khadime is a British Actress and Singer, on screen and on stage. Alexia has been in many, London, West End productions playing roles such as Nala in Disney’s The Lion king, Elphaba in Wicked, Eponine in Les Miserables and Nabulungi in The Book of Mormon. Alexia’s love for acting and singing started at a young age. It was in her teen years where she started voice lessons and would attend acting classes after school. Alexia got her first break in British TV show Grange Hill, from there she went onto do more British television, commercials and then eventually theatre.
Though acting and singing was her passion, Alexia actually was studying in Psychology, English literature and Maths and was pursuing a career in psychology. But the industry seem to keep calling for her, and so she continued her training in acting and singing privately, while working in TV and Theatre.
As well as working in TV, film and stage, Alexia has done voice over work for Rimmel London and Cartoon Networks hit show Steven Universe where she voiced the character Sardonynx, the fusion character of pearl and Garnet.
In 2009 Alexia won the “Women of the Future” Award, which is a platform for young successful women in Britain, along side her co star. Alexia more recently won Awards for her role as Nabulungi in the Book of Mormon, for Best Supporting Actress in a musical, What’s Onstage and Broadway World Award, and the West End Wilma Award for Best supporting role in a musical.
Alexia appeared in the Les Miserables movie 2012 as a Lovely lady, and National Theatres London Road Film 2015 as Radio Tecky You can also catch Alexia in Rocketman film 2019 as Diana.
