It's a New Dawn, it's a New Year!
The clock struck 12. In the the words of Nina Simone, "its a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life, for me and I'm feeling good," ringing in my head. With every end, brings a New
beginning. It's exciting. It's like a do over, a fresh start, turning over a new leaf. The time of year where people make New years resolutions. How one can improve themselves. Classic revolutions are, lose weight, eat healthier, stop smoking, don't drink as much. Mine tend to be eat healthier and lose weight (I have the winter/Christmas to thank for the extra pounds), as I don't smoke nor drink. I tend to stick to it a bit then fall off part way through the year, then jump back on. I think most of us do. Even though we set these goals and not all of us are going to make it, the fact that you set the goal and try I think says something. Whatever your goal maybe. As much as you may fall off, The important things is to get back on it. Start as you mean to go on.
Before 2015 came to a close, I was reflecting and thinking how I can make 2016 a better year. Jotting down a list of revolutions the classics, lose weight, eat healthier, go to the gym 4 times a week, take more me time (so under valued), get a minimum of 8 hours sleep every night (even though clearly I'm writing this at a crazy hour of the morning, but it's New Years morning so surely doesn't count). Then it hit me. The very thing I was passionate enough to write about for Sky morning stories . Have a positive mind. Positive Mental Attitude. PMA.
There it is! I need to do more of it. You see "A possitive attitude gives you power over your circumstances, instead of your circumstances having power over you" Joyce Meyer. That is so much power! You coud be reading this thinking...... Really? But it does. You see I think you attract what you put out. If you're constantly putting out negative vibes and worrying and stressing, you'll only attract more negativity, be more fearful, which may I add is False Evidence Appearing Real - Fear, you stress more, worry more. Your mind is foggy. Get off the train of doom. Change your train of thought to a positive one. It can only do one thing. Attract positivity. Like magnets, "like attracts like." It's simple really you reap what you sow.
You see, positivite thinking has even been taught to us from when we were kids.

A New year is like a blank book. Clean fresh pages, and you are the author. pen ready. Waiting for you to write a new exciting story for the fresh New Year ahead. Keep your spirits and determination unshaken and your hopes and dreams shall come into frutition. May 2016 be a memorable one. Happy New Year!
